Transfer to hotel and check in for 1 night.

Our tour starts when we depart from Reykjavík after breakfast and checkout, then on towards Nesjavellir, where our first photo stop is overlooking Þingvallavatn lake. We then visit Þingvellir National Park, the area is known for unbelievable beauty and history. It ́s where the Vikings established
the parliament in the year 930 and where a rift valley is being created by the drift of two tectonic plates, the North American and the Eurasian plates. From there we visit Geysir hot spring area, this geothermal area has been active for the last 10,000 years. There you can enjoy the sight of many different hot springs, the erupting hot spring Strokkur erupts water between 25-35 meters into the air every 10 minutes or so. We then travel off the beaten path towards Kerlingarfjöll mountains, a cluster of rugged mountains placed in the middle of the highlands. The area is geothermally active and is incredibly beautiful. This is where we’ll spend the next  two nights. You can’t find a more remote hotel anywhere in Iceland and it’s the perfect place to enjoy stargazing and the amazing Northern Lights (Weather dependent) tour after dinner.

Today we’ll explore Hveradalir Valley, nestled within the rugged expanse of the Kerlingarfjöll Mountains in Iceland, is a geological wonderland brimming with natural marvels. This otherworldly landscape is characterized by vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow, painted by the mineral-rich geothermal activity that permeates the area. Steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and colorful rhyolite mountainsides create a surreal panorama, inviting adventurers to explore its untamed beauty. When you visit Hveradalir, you’ll be captivated by the raw power of nature and the serene majesty of this remote Icelandic wilderness. If conditions allow, we visit Hveravellir, located in the heart of Iceland’s remote interior, is a geothermal oasis renowned for its hot springs, bubbling mud pots, and dramatic landscapes. Surrounded by vast lava fields and snow-capped mountains, this tranquil sanctuary offers a unique blend of rugged beauty and natural tranquility. There we can soak in the geothermal pool, marvel at the colorful mineral deposits, and explore the surrounding wilderness. Arriving back at our accommodation in the late afternoon.

After breakfast and checkout, today we’ll explore the must see attraction on the South Coast, we start by visiting Seljalandsfoss waterfall a striking and majestic 62-meter-high waterfall. About 10 thousand years ago, the waterfall fell straight from the cliffs to the ocean, the reason is the volcanos
had not yet formed the landform and soils below. Close by is Skógafoss waterfall, this waterfall is often referred to as the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland. The amount of water is excessive, the form of the waterfall is almost perfect in its rectangular shape, the 60-meter drop makes it impressive, and the width of 25 meters puts it into a great perspective.  We also visit Reynisfjara black sand beach.  It is a beautiful black sand beach stretching on a three-kilometer reef to the west of the small mountain Reynisfjall.  When you enter the beach, you will encounter one of the most spectacular basalt column formations in Iceland right in front of you at the foot of the mountain. One of the most exciting parts of the basalt column is the cave Hálsanefshellir. The beach can also be hazardous, and visitors need to be aware of the waves while they are visiting the beach. On the other side of the mountain is the beautiful village Vík where we make a scenic stop before heading back towards Reykjavík.

On this day you will have time to explore the city centre, but in the afternoon at 16:30, you can go on a wonderful food & drink tour.  This tour is primarily a tour to have a great time. Meet a group of other travelers with a fun local guide to eat and drink your way through the central area, visiting 5 places. From super trendy and hip gastro pubs, to cozy craft beer places to a small family run restaurant, this tour gives you a taste of it all. Just make sure that you show up hungry and thirsty. What a wonderful and tasty way to say farewell to Reykjavik! All food and drinks are included in the tour.

Your group transfer will pick you up at your hotel for your departure flight.
