PARADIGM TRAVEL AGENCY PRESENTS

Australia Beyond the Baseline

Australian Open. Wild Australia. Sydney Harbour.

January 18–28, 2027 | 10 Nights | 14 Guests Only

From $10,560 per person

Two premium sessions at the Australian Open. Three nights on one of Australia’s most spectacular and little-visited coastlines. Sydney at its most iconic. This is Australia far beyond the tennis.

The Opening.

The Australian Open is the reason to go. It isn’t the trip.

Most people fly into Melbourne, watch the tennis, and fly home. They see one city and call it Australia.

This journey goes further.

We start with four nights in Melbourne and reserved Rod Laver Arena sessions with premium hospitality. Then we leave the well-traveled route behind for three nights on South Australia’s wild Eyre Peninsula before finishing in iconic Sydney.

Ten nights. Three distinctly different sides of Australia. Just fourteen travelers. And I’ll be there with you from beginning to end.

Come for the Australian Open.
Discover the Australia you didn't know to ask for.

Melbourne.

Four nights where the Australian summer comes alive.

Melbourne rewards travelers who go beyond the postcard, and this is a city built for exactly that kind of exploring: hidden laneways, a café culture that borders on obsession, and a dining scene that rivals anywhere in the world. Between wandering the city and slipping out to the wines and coastal landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula, you’ll get the Melbourne that locals actually love, and yes, we happen to be here during the Australian Open too.

A Day Away From Centre Court

Between Open sessions, leave Melbourne behind for the Mornington Peninsula: native wildlife, cool-climate wine, sculpture overlooking the Southern Ocean and a long vineyard lunch.

AFTER THE ROAR OF MELBOURNE

Go Somewhere Almost Nobody Else Does

Fly south to the Eyre Peninsula, where white-sand coastline, wild koalas and some of Australia’s finest seafood replace the crowds of Melbourne.

The Eyre Peninsula.

This is the part nobody sells, and the reason I built the trip this way.

South Australia’s western coast is wild, rarely traveled, and well beyond the usual Australia itinerary. This is where oysters are pulled straight from the clear blue sea, coastlines stretch for miles without interruption, and wildlife is encountered in the open, not behind glass.

Three nights here, and it may be the part of Australia you never expected – and the part you talk about longest after you get home.

Eyre Peninsula Beach

Lincoln National Park

4WD through dunes and wild Southern Ocean coastline.

Wildlife

Koalas, kangaroos and native wildlife where they actually live.

Coffin Bay Oysters

Coffin Bay

Oysters collected and shucked where they’re grown, followed by a luxury catamaran experience.

Chef Kris

A private seafood masterclass and dinner hosted in the home of one of Port Lincoln’s best-known chefs.

The Final City

After Melbourne’s energy and Eyre Peninsula’s wild coastline, the journey slows down. Explore the city beyond the postcard, enjoy a full day entirely your own, and finish where a journey like this should: on Sydney Harbour.

Sydney.

The finish, and the reason to arrive with something left in the tank.

After Melbourne’s energy and the wild coast of South Australia, Sydney is where the pace shifts again.

We’ll experience the harbour from the water, explore the historic Rocks on foot, and leave enough room in the itinerary to simply enjoy one of the world’s great waterfront cities.

A spectacular setting, a slower final chapter, and time built in to just be.

Inside the Opera House

Private access and a deeper look inside this architectural and engineering marvel.

A Day Entirely Yours

Celebrate Australia Day. No touring. No schedule. Sydney however you want it.

The Grand Finale

A farewell dinner cruise in the Sydney Harbour to toast an amazing journey in Australia.

FAQ

Do I need to buy my own Australian Open tickets?

No. Your two premium Australian Open sessions, including reserved lower-bowl seating at Rod Laver Arena and Riverside Social hospitality, are already included in your trip price.

No. You’ll book your own international flights to Melbourne and home from Sydney. Once you reserve your place, I’ll share the exact arrival window you’ll need to meet for our group’s first activity, so you can book flights that land you in time.

Not necessarily, and that’s part of the appeal for many guests. With only 14 travelers and me hosting personally from start to finish, this group gets to know each other quickly, and you’ll never feel like a number on a tour bus.

This journey is designed for double occupancy. If you’re traveling solo and would like to discuss single occupancy availability and pricing, please reach out to me directly before booking.

Yes; the trip is built for double occupancy, so you and a companion book together for one shared room throughout. With only 14 total spots, I’d recommend reserving sooner rather than later if you’re booking as a pair.

It’s Australian summer, so plan on heat, especially in Melbourne during the Open. Light, breathable clothing and sun protection go a long way, and the itinerary is built with plenty of shade, hospitality lounges, and indoor moments woven in so you’re never stuck baking in it all day. The Eyre Peninsula’s coastal breeze offers a welcome cooldown partway through the trip.

Moderate. You’ll be on your feet for city walking tours, a 4WD dune adventure in Lincoln National Park, and a full day at the Australian Open. There’s no strenuous hiking, but comfortable walking shoes and reasonable mobility are recommended throughout.

Travel protection is strongly recommended, particularly because full payment is required at booking. Coverage, exclusions and pre-existing-condition provisions vary by policy.

A 50% deposit per person is due at booking and is non-refundable. Final payment is due December 4, 2026. After that date, no refunds will be issued regardless of reason, since full payment has been remitted to our suppliers and partners at that stage. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking.

See the cancellation policy above. Because this trip includes non-transferable commitments like reserved Australian Open seating and a private yacht charter, refund flexibility is limited once your deposit is paid, which is exactly why travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Yes. Most U.S. citizens only need an Australian ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) to enter, which costs about AUD$20 and is quick to apply for on their app. Once you’ve reserved your place, I’ll walk you through the exact steps so it’s one less thing to think about.

Click “Reserve Your Place” to secure your spot through our TravelJoy secure booking page with a 50% deposit. If you have questions first, reach out to me directly and I’m happy to walk through anything before you commit.

Fourteen Guests.
One Departure.

If Australia has been on your list, this is not the year to keep saying “someday.”

Booking closes October 30, 2026

Questions before reserving? I’m happy to talk through the journey with you personally.
